Tuition Assistance

Tuition Assistance

The Santa Fe Girls’ School recruits a diverse student population – academically, economically, and culturally. Most girls come from the public school system and return to public schools as academic and social leaders. Our alumnae are accepted into all of Santa Fe’s private schools as well. Tuition assistance is offered to families who are unable to pay full tuition costs.

SSS05-logo-NAISFamilies requesting tuition assistance complete a form processed by School and Student Services for Financial Aid (SSS) by National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), an agency out of New Jersey.

SSS/ NAIS evaluates the financial circumstances of our families against nationally-determined criteria and maintains confidentiality regarding each individual family’s financial status. The information sent to the Santa Fe Girls’ School from SSS indicates the amount of tuition a family can reasonably be expected to contribute to their child’s tuition. Tuition assistance funds are distributed on a first come, first served basis. Families are encouraged to apply to SSS as early as possible. Information about our tuition assistance policies is included in the application packet.

Educate New Mexico is an additional option for tuition assistance. Located in Albuquerque, this non-profit organization awards funds on a lottery basis. Families need to qualify to apply for funds directly from this organization.
